Introducing: Simply Clean’s 2014 Winter Warmth Campaign

18 December 2013

As you know, Seattle has a large number of residents who are unfortunately living without proper shelter, many of whom are Military Veterans. As temperatures drop in the winter months, many of Seattle’s homeless are at great risk of succumbing to the frigid cold.

We at Simply Clean are looking to collaborate with our customers to help Seattle’s homeless population battle the upcoming freezing winter months.

What will Simply Clean do?

Simply Clean will be pledging money between 12/15/13 – 2-28-14 towards supplies for those in need. We will be teaming up with many local charities and shelters to provide as much help as we can. Once our campaign is over, we will distribute the money we’ve raised toward different organizations in the area.

We’re accepting drop-offs from local residents!

You don’t need to be a Simply Clean customer to donate clothing and supplies to us. We’d love to meet with you at our Westlake branch to accept your donations. Please make sure all donations are in great shape and designed for winter wear. There shouldn’t be tears or stains on anything.

What can we do?

We’ve been very fortunate to work with so many wonderful clients over the years. After over 5 years of servicing our beautiful King County area, we’ve gotten to know many of you on a very friendly and even personal level. I am absolutely sure we can come together as one to help provide extra comfort to those in need during the 2013-14 winter season.

If we’re scheduled to clean your home, please consider leaving out helpful items for our cleaners to pick up. We will then donate these items to both local homeless shelters and those living on the street.

Simply leave your donations in a plastic bag marked “Donations” for our cleaners to pick up. That’s it! We’ll do the rest.

What can I donate?

Please consider donating any clothing items and blankets which would help keep someone warm.

  • Hats, scarves, earmuffs, gloves, etc.
  • Blankets, sleeping bags, pillows, etc.
  • Shoes, socks, long johns, sweats, pants, etc.
  • Coats, jackets, sweatshirts, etc.

Thank you for your help. It is greatly appreciated.

Happy Holidays,
Simply Clean
